Concept

Markets tend to react at previous highs and lows, which serve as psychological support and resistance levels.

Idea

The strategy checks if the current price is moving away from the recent highest high or lowest low within a lookback period. A bounce from support signals buying, while rejection at resistance signals selling.

• Minimum pip distance from support/resistance

Best suited for

Works well in sideways or range-bound markets

Less effective in breakout phases where levels are constantly broken
